The Board has officially placed Dr. Bill Gay as the newly appointed Director of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for the National Black Radio Hall of Fame National Chapters.
Anyone who wishes to reach out to Dr. Gay; may do so via email gayw86@hotmail.com . We are in the process of accepting nominations for the upcoming awards during Black History Month here in Atlanta. All chapters may submit up to two names for consideration. The selected individuals must not receive payment for the community service which they are involved in. All submissions must state that the individual has completed at least 100 hours of community service.
If you send in a submission to Dr. Gay, you must provide a brief Bio, Contact information for their email address and their phone number; if we do not receive this information, your submission will not be accepted for possible award submission.

Family Historical Notes:
Dr. William Gay, husband of Candi Gay, is the son of the late George Gay and the late Alice Hemby. He is the grandson of the late Robert ‘Pa Bob” Gay and the late Lillie “Ma Lillie” Parker Gay.
Dr. William Gay and Melvin Gay( son of Uncle Dave Gay and the late Mary Whitehurst Gay) are the only members of the Gay-Parker family who were born in the long standing “Red House” on Stantonsburg Road near Greenville, NC.
