The summer of 2017 will be a busy time for the Glorifying Vines Sisters and band members.. On July 13th, the group will perform at the Bullpen in Durham, NC. A little over a month later, from August 22-28 they will travel to the lakeside city of Lugano, Switzerland for a series of performances.
According to Alice Vines, the Glorifying Vines Sisters group manager, they will perform at a festival on Thursday and later perform in four other shows. Their last performance will be at a church on Sunday. Alice also said that the video recording of their performances will be available on youtube.
The musical tour for the Glorifying Vines Sisters is sponsored by Music Maker Relief Foundation. According to the web site, “Music Maker Relief Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit, was founded to preserve the musical traditions of the South by directly supporting the musicians who make it, ensuring their voices will not be silenced by poverty and time.”
The Glorifying Vines Sisters group of seven travelling to Lugano, Switzerland are Alice Vines, Dorothy Vines Daniels, Mattie Vines Harper, Anthony “Amp” Daniels, Johnny Ray Daniels, Joe Louis Daniels, and Curt Harper.
